Desktop Wallpapers
For whatever reason, I’m a sucker for wallpapers. Really, I’m a sucker for print design and cool graphics, and wallpapers are just about my only purpose for them.
I came across an article with tons and tons of galleries, a few of which are worth browsing (if you’re into that sort of thing). Some of my favorites include:
- Design Wallpaper
- Individual: Green Apple (my current choice at home)
- Individual: Apple – Conquer the Universe
- Freelance Switch (I’m using “Think Outside the Cubicle” at work)
- Customize.org

I wish I could get myself to stop calling them “wallpapers”. I’ve been an Apple user for like four years and the official “Mac” term for it is “desktop”. Thanks for sharing the links – I can’t stand to have the same desktop for more than a week.

I have the “Think Outside the Cubicle” as my desktop picture right now. Chris got me hooked on InterfaceLIFT for some cool desktop pictures.

Nick—Yeah, “wallpaper” is kind of a gay way to refer to that. Maybe I should have titled it, “Desktop backgrounds” or something.
Dave—InterfaceLIFT is a good one. When I first bought the iMac, I went through every single page of 1920×1200 backgrounds. I sometimes despise those lengthy galleries, simply because I always feel that I need to look at every picture so I don’t miss the golden nugget of the bunch. Oh well.
