iPhone's at Wal-Mart
I don’t like it. I don’t know if it was an initiative on Apple’s part to mass-market the iPhone (weren’t they selling enough?), or if it was Wal-Mart wanting a piece of the pie. Either way, I can’t stand the fact that something as incredible as the iPhone is being sold at Wal-Mart (or any of the other Apple products for that matter).
Wal-Mart has an incredible way of making good products feel cheap. Apple design is near perfect, and has no business being a part of a store that does a little bit of everything, but isn’t good at anything. They treat employees like crap and they couldn’t care less about quality.
Best Buy? Definitely. AT&T? Obviously. But Wal-Mart? No way.
Apple is better than that.
