This post: (no subject)

I just spent at least 30 or more seconds trying to think of a good subject for an email. For whatever reason, I felt (and always feel) compelled to add a subject. It just didn’t seem right to leave it blank—at least for the email I was sending, anyway. Why is it so important to fill in the subject? Part of me thinks by leaving it blank, it will be regarded as spam and overlooked. Another part of me thinks that it conveys some sort of rude aura before reading. And part of me thinks I’m looking into an email subject much too deeply. I’m not trying to sell the email, so I shouldn’t care; but apparently I do.
